This company is looking to recruit an IS Administrator.

This varied role requires an experienced IS Administrator/Engineer to;

- Monitor and maintain the company’s computer hardware and software systems.
- Assist with the implementation and support of new and existing computer systems.
- Provide support for the operational activities of the I.T. service.

Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with the installation and maintenance of company networks, servers and backup systems. Analyse and resolve problems associated with server hardware, network and application software.
- Maintain firewall and anti-virus technologies that secure IT systems. Identify network and security issues; develop plans and procedures to ensure safety and privacy of information.
- Resolve technical issues. Respond to telephone calls, email and personnel requests for technical support. Track and monitor the problems to insure a timely resolution.
- Assist with the development of procedures, documentation and training of department personnel.

Qualifications, Skills & Experience:
- Proven experience working within an Active Directory environment is essential, preferably with Windows 7/10, Server 2012/2016, Exchange 2010/2016 and Hyper-V.
- Competent in the setup and basic problem solving of servers, PCs, printers and associated hardware.
- Experience of server, PC and network security, including anti-virus systems, patch management, NTFS, Group Policies and firewalls.
- Experience or knowledge of Microsoft System Center management tools.
- Proficient in the use of various applications and software packages, e.g., Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook etc. combined with good numerical skills.
- Able to communicate effectively with persons at all levels, both internally and externally with suppliers, etc.
- Able to prioritise workloads and respond to more than one task at a time, often within a pressured environment.
