The Role:

The International Sales Engineer will focus on business development, international product promotion and customer service. As first point of contact with a potential new customer, they are the face of the company and will be representing us on the front line.

Based in Manchester with extensive international travel primarily to the Middle & Far East

More specifically, the role of International Sales Engineer will involve:
- Developing a thorough knowledge and understanding of all company products and services
- Managing existing and new client relationships, liaising with the team to ensure the client is offered the best support and technical know-how
- International customer and distributor visits, delivering training and product demonstrations
- Helping to grow the business through customer solutions and distributor management
- Development and management of new sales opportunities
- Conducting on site surveys of assets to generate client quotations and project specifications
- Working closely with the rest of the Business Development team to contribute to the overall marketing and business development strategy

The International Sales Engineer will be focussed on external working relationships and these are with Clients who are the major international power companies, currently including the Saudi Electricity Company, Hong Kong Electric, LG Group. You will be working with strategic management teams as well as front line engineers. Another key relationship will be with the distributors and agents that represent the company and negotiate overseas sales with the clients.

The Person:

The successful candidate is likely to have a strong technical background and be keen to learn new technologies. They are looking for someone who is a confident and independent individual with excellent communications skills and an enthusiastic approach.

The ability to learn about new technologies and the confidence and integrity to represent the company are much more valuable to us than the existing experience you bring. This is definitely a role that you will develop into and make your own over time.
