The UK’s largest independent provider of training and consultancy services for teachers is looking for an Internal Sales Person for either a full time or term time only (38 weeks per annum) role starting as soon as possible.
They are looking for a professional Outbound Sales Person to join their family business which provides training to teachers and is based in South Croydon.
The salary package is in the region of £15,000 to £25,000 annually depending on hours and days worked. Working hours are 0900-1700 with 1 hour for lunch although they will consider applications from those looking to work a reduced hourly day.
You will be making outbound calls to schools and colleges to generate new business and follow up past delegates to get feedback and secure further bookings. You must be good at building relationships, tenacious and have a real can do attitude.
Duties:
- Make outbound calls to schools and colleges to generate new business
- Service assigned accounts
- Build relationships
- Learn about our products and take an active interest in the education sector
- Work with the Sales Manager and Marketing to generate ideas for campaigns and products
- Undertake admin tasks for the Sales and Marketing departments as required

- Well-developed personal organisation skills with attention to detail
- Confidence working with IT systems including CRM
- To be a quick learner who actively seeks to develop themselves
- To have a grade ‘C’ or above in GCSE English
The role is based at their head office in Croydon – just 10 minutes’ walk from Sanderstead, Purley Oaks and South Croydon station and less than a minute’s walk from South Croydon bus Garage.
