This company is a well respected supplier into the highly innovative Life Sciences Industry Sector with customers ranging from Research and Development Labs and Universities through to Large Blue Chip Pharmaceutical Companies, as well as Contract Manufacturers.
This role will suit somebody with experience working in a sales office looking to make the next move into a role with more autonomy and responsibility.
Following on-going continued growth of the business they are looking for an energetic and conscientious Internal Sales Executive to help maintain the excellent customer service that they offer.
The role includes responsibility for processing sales orders and progressing purchase orders as well as working in partnership with the Sales & Marketing teams to maximise sales and deliver excellent customer service.
Functions of this position include:
- Making pro active outgoing sales calls
- Processing Incoming Sales Orders
- Dealing with incoming sales calls
- Managing Customer Service Issues
- Maintaining information in the CRM system
- Analysing and reporting on deliveries out
- Preparing Customer Quotations
- Development of relationships with new customers
- Following up on quotations
Required Skills:
- I.T Literate
- Good Telephone Manner
- Min. Grade C GCSE or equivalent in Maths and English.
- Proven Inside sales Experience
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills
- Strong listening and presentation skills
- Ability to multi-task, prioritise, and manage time effectively
- Some experience of working within the Industry or for a company supplying process equipment would be beneficial although not essential.
