Internal Sales Engineer - Pumps

Location: Slough

Salary: £22,500 to £32,500 Dependent on Experience

This is an opportunity for an Internal Sales Engineer / Applications Engineer to join a friendly company with in excess of 80 UK employees with an average length of service of over 10 years. The position is based in their West London headquarters which shall be moving during 2018 to a new location in between Ealing and Slough. The position would suit an Engineering graduate with an outgoing personality.

They are a part of a group which has enjoyed dynamic growth to become the largest positive displacement pump distributor organisation in Europe.

This position is part of a team that is responsible for producing commercial and technical quotations for Industrial Pumps and Systems to a wide range of UK customers whilst supporting their external Sales Engineers.

Using customer specifications provided by their engineering sales team or direct from their customers, you will produce accurate quotations for customised solutions. You will also be tasked with responding to customer technical enquiries.

You must have an interest in learning new technology and industrial applications as well as strong analytical skills. You will be bright and confident and should have a high level of computer literacy, especially in MS Word and Excel.

Previous pump industry experience would be a benefit, but not essential. Training for the role will consist of in house and also overseas travel to their represented manufacturers.

You may be required to occasionally visit accounts; therefore a current driving licence would be essential.
