Job Description
This data protection and management company are recruiting for three highly motivated people to join their successful sales team in Chesterfield, Derbyshire.
Working as an Internal Account Executive you will have a good fixed salary.
Working alongside your Senior Account Manager the two of you will be residing over a territory of mid enterprise UK customers and prospects ;
- Your time will be 80% Cold Calling and 20% Account Managing with the Senior Account Manager 20% Cold Calling and 80% Account Managing.
- Handle all incoming communication when the Senior Account Manager is on holiday and out on customer appointments.
- Work with Marketing and Business Development to create new leads for your territory.
- Liaise with the Technical / Project Management team to design Data Storage & Protection solutions.
- For the correct person this role will be very fulfilling and career progression will be actively encouraged.
The Person
- No experience required but absolutely essential is a strong desire to finish and win.
- Excellent telephone manner with clear understanding of winning a prospect over.
- Powerful written and verbal communication skills.
- A clear understanding that this will be a numbers game so an ability to conduct extensive outbound cold calling.
- However a great degree of attention to detail when processing information and documents must also be a skill.
- Must be comfortable working in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial work environment.
- Self-motivated, self-managing, and driven.
- An interest in technology would be an advantage but the desire to succeed in a sales environment is more important.
- Would suit a higher education leaver looking for the first job to someone looking for a career change and has had exposure to sales or lead generation.
- Your audience will generally be university educated professional's and often senior management so an ability to converse at these levels again will be advantage with your application.
