A 6 month contract initially, and attracting a pay rate of £400 - £500 per day.

The Opportunity

- We now need an experienced Procurement Executive/Buyer to review all our purchasing activities - acting on behalf of the whole Group.
- Primarily this task will focus on all external materials and services - particularly Raw Materials but also Consumables, Packaging , and utilities.
- In terms of Raw Materials, the remit includes extending the supply opportunities beyond our traditional European based suppliers, to include the Middle East and Far East.
- The remit includes all 5 of our UK manufacturing sites.

The Person

- An experienced Procurement Executive, who is used to taking on a project where this role has not been a dedicated function in an organisation previously.
- Knowledge of Raw Materials purchasing, and the markets in which they are sourced.
- You current location is flexible, although it would help if you were based with easy access to one of our UK sites.
- Ability and willingness to travel to Europe, Middle East and Far East as required to develop new suppliers.
