Our client is a global manufacturing and distribution business growing rapidly. Its European division is planning a significant acquisition and the Global CFO requires an experienced FD/CFO to lead the process.

The role will report directly into the global CFO and have no responsibility for the regional finance team. They will also be responsible for developing and implementing post acquisition an integration plan so liaison with the UK based European CFO and their teams will be required.

The start date would be immediate and the project will last a minimum of 6 months but probably longer.

Essential skills/experience
- Suitably qualified Accountant with track record of Board involvement
- Experience of prior interim/project roles
- Experience of international acquisitions
- Experience of planning and executing integrations
- Familiar with PE backed businesses
- Strong technical and governance skills
- Exemplary communication and relationship building skills
- Must be immediately available
- French speaking is not essential but may be beneficial

The CFO will largely work remotely with occasional visits to Cambridge and France
