The successful candidate will perform on-site customer evaluations to examine facility cleanliness in a variety of customer environments; formulating and delivering training plans to ensure conformance; as well as providing quality evaluation data for comprehensive customised reporting for their customers.

Qualifications
- Detailed working knowledge of a HACCP environment e.g. BRC
- Experience in a retail standards and spot audit environment e.g. Marks & Spencer, Tesco
- CIEH Level 3 or 4 certification or equivalent would be an advantage
- Ability to interact effectively with others, including senior level customers, including the ability to teach, coach and provide guidance and constructive feedback with tact and diplomacy
- Strong relationship management capability
- Supervisory experience is preferred
- Flexible approach to working as some weekend work may be required

Key Responsibilities
- Conducts food hygiene, and other on-site evaluations at customer locations, assessing workplace safety and environmental cleanliness
- Provides food safety standards education and training to customers, including the preparation of training materials and update of customer specific web portals.
- Maintains detailed cleaning instructions and schedules for all hygiene activity within their remit ensuring all aspects of the hygiene services are carried out and meet the requirements of the BRC
- Coordinates hygiene schedules and labour required to complete food safety audits based on the customer’s needs
- Maintains accurate records of each audit, including recording accurate analysis of the environment and required actions to overcome any issues
- Meets with appropriate customer stakeholder to provide audit findings and mutually formulate corrective action plans
- Engages with key stakeholders in the customer’s business; develop and grow the relationship, and perform activities to ensure a high level of customer satisfaction
- Ensures that improved process performance is sustainable through well documented procedures, trained staff and systematic controls
- Partners with their Service Management and external supplier teams to solve customer issues and assist in program development
- Completes and submits monthly plan reports to the company/customer within agreed timescales
