This company is one of the world’s leading suppliers of high-quality static storage solutions, state of the art intra logistics and automated material handling systems. The technology includes robotics and complex software solutions. They have a strong order book following major wins this year and they are looking to expand the HSQE team.

With this continued growth they are looking for an experienced and qualified HSQE practitioner to work within the their Pury Hill Office, near Towcester. This is an ideal opportunity to develop a long-term career in the intra-logistics sector which is a significant growth area in the UK with many Company's making significant investment in automated warehouses.

The role covers a number of their resident maintenance sites, project sites and sites where they support on a mobile basis. Their client portfolio consists of major blue chip companies from high street and industry.

About the role:
- Assist in the undertaking of HSQE audits on sites.
- Maintain and Improve all HSQE documentation to ensure the company complies with all Legislation.
- Undertake HSQE related administration duties as required, accurate records, reporting and effectiveness of our HSQE
- Maintain and develop UK policy.
- To provide appropriate HSQE advice and support to all areas of the UK business.
- Carry out HSQE mentoring / training as appropriate.
- Carry out Accident and Incident investigation, including supporting corrective and preventative actions to closure.
- Support Occupational Health program and HSQE campaigns.
- Promote a positive safety culture.

About You:

Education and Background:
- Qualification in Health and Safety Management - NEBOSH or with IOSH and working towards NEBOSH and ideally qualification and / or experience in Quality Management Systems and Environmental Management Systems.
- Experience in an engineering, maintenance environment and experience of MHE & Automation / Storage Equipment.

H&S Experience / Key Skills:
- Good working knowledge of general HSQE topics/Legislation
- An understanding of the ISO standards; 9001;2015, 14001;2015 and OHSAS 18001/45001
- Excellent knowledge of MS Office
- Excellent knowledge of how to manage and control the main hazards found within the business;
o Working at Height Hazards (Work at Height Regs)
o Mechanical Hazards
o Electrical Hazards (Electricity at Work Regs)
o Lifting Operation Hazards (LOLER)
o Plant, Facilities and Automation Hazards(PUWER)
o Substance Hazards (COSHH)
o Construction (CDM)
o Rail Dependent Cranes (EN528)
o Packaging regulations

Due to the nature of the role travel and some nights away from home will be required.
