Are you an experienced HSE professional looking for your next challenge? Would you like to work for a leading Global telecoms organisation? They are currently seeking a HSE Manager to join their friendly team.

Responsible for the Health and Safety and Environment Management system on site, Including but not limited to the following:

- Develop, update and maintain effective documentation, policies and procedures, ensuring they are legally compliant, in line with Legislation, business requirements and the companies OHSAS18001 and ISO14001 Certification.
- Ensuring that all employees are aware and understand their responsibilities and actions in regards to Health and Safety and the Environment.
- Conduct and review risk assessments and Method Statements (H&S and Environmental) for thos company, maintaining the Risk Register and following up on any actions.
- Responsible for Accident and Fire Safety procedures on site. Undertake investigations, root causes analysis and make recommendations when required.
- Working with internal and external stakeholders/Departments to ensure the Health and Safety of the sites including reviewing and/or completing of documentation and advising
- Facilitating, conducting and developing Health and Safety training, including but not limited to Induction.
- Complete HSE related checks and testing as required.
- Maintaining the Organisations Legal Compliance Register.
- Production of monthly statistics
- Support the Quality Manager during Peak Periods.

The Ideal Candidate will have:

- Appropriate experience of operating in a HSE role within a similar environment.
- Possession of a NEBOSH Certificate or equivalent. It is highly desirable that the candidate holds a NEBOSH Diploma and is a corporate member of IOSH.
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills and ability to influence both internal and external stakeholders
- Ability to work well under pressure.
- Excellent IT skills and experience of producing reports and statistics.
- The ability to work independently and as part of a wider team.
- Knowledge of ISO 18001 and 14001.
