They now have a vacancy for an HR Assistant who will report to the Head of HR and be part of the HR & Facilities team.

This role requires a high level of attention to detail, confidentiality, strong written and verbal communication skills and a genuine ability to multi-task and adapt to changing priorities. The key responsibilities of the role will include:

- To support the recruitment process including liaising with candidates, managing agencies, preparing adverts, shortlisting, organising interviews and assessments, issuing appropriate documentation
- To work with the HR Administrator to ensure timely preparation of documentation throughout HR processes
- To take responsibility for key HR processes for starters, leavers and change of status, employee benefits
- To take responsibility for the on-boarding and induction process for new starters
- Managing the day to day absence policy and procedures
- To provide support for on-site training and development activities, liaise with training providers, capture training costs, course evaluation and support internal HR training efforts. Conduct HR Induction sessions
- Support the implementation of an integrated HR and Payroll System: experience of working with an integrated system is a requirement of the position
- Shared responsibility for supporting payroll processes

The successful candidate will be educated to 'A' level standard and have previous experience in an HR administrator/assistant position. A CIPD qualification (or working towards) is also required. Strong IT skills are a requirement of the role, particularly the use of Microsoft Word and Excel as well as experience in working with HR packages/databases.
