The Role

This exciting new role has been introduced to keep up with the demand on the HR function as the business continues to grow. The HR Manager requires an Assistant to relieve their daily workload and enable them to focus on the strategic direction of the business and HR function. As a generalist HR Assistant, this role will offer variety, a fast pace and a wide scope of HR responsibilities to get stuck into to. A large part of the role will be administrative yet there will be opportunities to expand into other areas of the HR function, to further increase your experience and knowledge-base. The HR Manager is open to suggestions regarding the set hours of this role and this will be agreed on a mutual basis.

The Person

This role is perfect for someone who has achieved their Level 3 CIPD qualification and wishes to get on the HR career ladder, or for someone with some HR experience and wishes to further their career. The right person for this role will be meticulous, organised and systematic in their approach to administration. They will have excellent attention to detail and thorough in all aspects of their role. They will be calm, level-headed and objective in their interactions, yet resilient and persuasive when necessary. Their written and verbal communication will be exceptional and they must be able to use MS Excel effectively. They will be a role model within the company, ensuring that they remain highly professional at all times and lead the way in all manner of compliance.

Other than the specification above, the follow is also essential:

- At least 12 months’ HR experience OR Level 3 CIPD qualification and above
- Administration experience
- Ability to manage confidential and sensitive situations
- Adaptable and a “can do” approach to work
