This Community Interest Company is looking for people with a supportive, caring and highly professional attitude to provide low-medium support and housing management duties to single people living in shared housing in the Swindon area.

You will play a key role in the support and resettlement of residents, covering a wide variety of tasks that contribute to fixing broken lives.

Duties will include allocating and letting properties, resettlement/tenancy support, tenancy training, maximising income, assisting clients/residents with budgeting & debts, ensuring resident complies with requirements for DWP to minimise HB sanctions, agency liaison referrals, taking appropriate action on breaches of licence agreements.

You will work as part of the Housing and Support team to achieve the required outputs for the area of operation

Successful candidates will have excellent communication skills that complement their strong desire to make a positive difference to someone’s life, with a flexible approach to work, as well as being able to deal calmly with people who present challenging behaviour.

The ability to work on your own initiative as well as working well as part of a team is essential.

You will need to have an understanding of homelessness, believe that people can be successful in society despite the odds being stacked against them, and are supportive and caring whilst maintaining a highly professional attitude.

Remuneration packages commensurate with level of experience.

All candidates must be prepared to undergo a DBS check.
