The Position
Applications are invited for an HGV Driver – Class C (Fallen Stock Collector Driver) at their Wrexham Site, working flexible working hours in line with UK Domestic Rules.
- As a HGV Driver – Class C, the duties and responsibilities will vary but will include Driving HGV vehicles
- Operation of vehicle equipment – i.e. Winch
- Completion of work documentation (Driver Records + Collection Records)
- Maintain good standards of housekeeping in the vehicle
- Undertake daily vehicle check
- Safe tipping of vehicle
- Collecting fallen stock to bring back to site
This position comes with the prospect of being trained to shoot and dispatch live animals at customer premises. No slaughter license/firearm certificates are required, as full training will be provided.
The Person
- Candidates should hold a full Driving licence – HGV Class C essential
- Be smart in appearance (uniform is provided) and have a pleasant manner
- Have knowledge of vehicle operation
- Have the ability to demonstrate understanding of Driver Hours Rules (EU & UK Domestic)
- Driver CPC completed
Salary: £8.84 per hour (with potential overtime) plus Benefits
