This company, based in Poynton, Cheshire, are market leaders in the supply of prestigious volumetric mixing equipment. They are currently undergoing a programme of change and expansion and are looking for a Workshop Engineer to join and contribute to the Engineering Team at this exciting time.
The successful individual will be involved in a variety of tasks, including:
- New build assembly of mixers and ancillary equipment
- Repairs and re-manufacture to "as new" condition
- Planned and preventative maintenance
- Condition reports and pre-delivery inspections
As a minimum, you should have:
- Fitter/fabrication skills
- 3 years welding skills Co2/Mig/Tig
- 3 years electrical engineering skills
- 3 years hydraulic systems experience
- The ability to interpret drawings
- The ability to diagnose and repair heavy plant
- Full and valid driving licence
A positive and flexible attitude is a must as there may be the requirement for overtime or, occasionally, working at customer sites.
The salary is negotiable, dependent on skills and experience. There's a contributory pension, a company uniform, 23 days holiday, on-site parking and the opportunity to increase your earnings with regular overtime.
