They are looking for a Health Safety & Facilities Co-ordinator to join their small team at their courier facility.

The principal purpose of the role:

The Health, Safety and Facilities Co-ordinator will take responsibility when it comes to managing health, safety and facilities at all their sites.

They will control and implement all Health and Safety procedures, which will include:

- Fire
- Manual Handling
- Equipment maintenance
- COSHH
- Waste Control
- PUWER
- Noise
- PPE

They will also:

- Deliver health and safety training to all staff and provide relevant advice
- Continuously monitor and review the internal health and safety policy
- Ensure the buildings and equipment at all sites are maintained
- Update and liaise with senior management on a regular basis regarding any issues or improvements that need to be actioned
- Organise all maintenance work
- Implement all health and safety procedures and practices and keep under continuous review
- Carry out Accident / Incident and Near Miss investigations
- Ensure fire safety standards, tests & drills are adhered to, including equipment and emergency lighting checks and fire risk assessment report actions are completed
- Be accountable for completing health, safety and facility audits at all sites to support internal audit and risk objectives

The Health, Safety and Facilities Co-ordinator should have:

- Practical health & safety experience in a similar warehouse environment
- Knowledge of the current HSE legislation
- Previous experience in managing the maintenance of a building
- Ability to manage staff and contractors
- Ability to plan projects
- Experience running audits

Salary negotiable for the right candidate dependent on experience.
