They have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Health, Safety and Environment (HS&E) professional to join the team based at their Nottingham Head Office, with travel to other sites across the East Midlands required, therefore a driving licence and access to a car is essential.

An enhanced DBS clearance is also a requirement for this role.

You will ensure the Health, Safety and Wellbeing of staff and learners, on and off-site. An influential member for the HS&E Governance Group, you will work in close collaboration with employers, partners and staff to ensure HS&E compliance and good practice. You will lead on the in house coaching and training of staff in the undertaking of risk assessments for learners, classrooms and work environments and embed robust audit monitoring procedures are in place.

NEBOSH qualified, with proven experience in a HS&E role, you will use your excellent communication skills to convince employees, managers and businesses of the need to implement and maintain safety standards. You will have the ability to plan, schedule and monitor and an awareness of safety management systems and standards. You will also have knowledge of HS&E issues within an FE establishment.
