This Employer is delighted to be advertising an HCA role. This is an opportunity to join a very friendly, well organised and supportive NHS GP Surgery in Wood Green, London N22. The Surgery has 11,000 patients and has been rated as outstanding for leadership. Staff are particularly valued with evenings-out, birthday presents and generous annual leave allowance.

The post is offered at an hourly rate of between £10/h and £15/h. The upper salary tier is for exceptional candidates, ie those currently in a primary care HCA role with experience of vaccinations, diabetes checks, dressings and blood pressure checks. For less qualified candidates, full training will be provided by way of accredited courses and in house training. The role is mainly patient facing with some clinical support duties.

The post attracts membership of NHS Superannuation Pension scheme and 30 days annual leave.

Hours required are:
Monday: 8:30am-5pm
Tuesday: 11am-8pm
Wednesday: 11pm-8pm
Thursday: 11am-5:30pm (possibility to start at 8am)
Friday: 9am-6pm

The post-holder will be working to a 37 ½ hour week although the working pattern is negotiable. There will be between 30mins and 1 hour unpaid lunch break each day depending on length of shift.

The successful post-holder would be able to start as soon as conveniently possible. Self motivation and initiative are important qualities but enthusiasm, ability to learn quickly and a friendly engaging manner are most important.
