Job Type: Self Employed
Fee: Minimum £200 p/day (Nurse)
Minimum £150 p/day (Mandatory)

This company has been providing outstanding quality training to the Health & Social Care Sector across the UK for over 15 years. They have gone from strength to strength expanding over the years and are set to continue to do so.

They are currently looking for enthusiastic and professional trainers to join their ever-expanding team. They have clients all over the UK so need trainers from across the country.

They require both health and social care trainers to teach mandatory courses, as well as nurse trainers to teach more clinical subjects. Nurse trainers will need to be experienced and qualified nurses, however, training or mentoring qualifications are not required as they can work with you to gain these.

This is your opportunity to train the next generation of care professionals on mandatory subjects within the Health & Social Care Sector.

Whilst a background within care is an advantage, it’s not essential as they will support your learning and provide the necessary opportunities to familiarise you with this industry.

They are committed to work with their contractors throughout their time with them, expanding their knowledge and supporting their carriers.

Required skills

- Driving licence & access to a vehicle
- Excellent time management and communication skills
- High energy, enthusiasm and flexibility
- Strong self-motivation
- Good IT skills
- Great customer service and people skills
- To be an experienced and qualified nurse (Nurse Trainer only)

Desirable skills

- Possess a minimum of a Level 3 Training Qualification OR a nurse mentoring and coaching award
- Previous experience in teaching, training or the health care sector
- Possess a minimum of a Level 3 Training Qualification OR a nurse mentoring and coaching award (if you don’t have this, they can help you achieve this qualification)

Responsibilities

- To deliver outstanding face to face training to groups of people
- To manage your own CPD (ie. keep your knowledge up to date on the subjects you train)
- To be a fair and inclusive trainer
- Deliver a smart, friendly and welcoming presentation
- Management of your own diary
- Responsibility for your own travel and punctuality
- Clock your own training hours

This is a role that involves travel to different locations each day and it may be necessary, at times for overnight stays, though they shall do their very best to keep these to a minimum.
