This roofing contractor is seeking to appoint an in-house H&S Manager to work alongside their Contracts Management team as a key point of contact for all matters relating to Health and Safety throughout the company.
Responsibilities:
- Implementation of Risk Assessments & Method Statements/Construction Phase Plans on Principal Contractor Projects
- Produce O&M Manuals
- Audit and maintain site H&S standards.
- Liaise with Main Contractors, Principal Designers, Clients, & Contracts Managers
- Attend Pre-start meetings, & monthly safety meetings.
- Maintain procurement accreditation's.
- Complete Pre – Qualification Questionnaires
- Review and update company policies and procedures
- Analyse and maintain company training requirements.
- Conduct accident/incident investigations & statistical analysis
Skills and Experience:
- NEBOSH (National General Certificate ) Essential
- NEBOSH ( Construction ) Desirable
- Tech IOSH Essential or Higher Grade
- CSCS Card Holder Essential
- Experience within the Construction Industry Essential
- Good ITC skills
- Good Verbal/Written Communication skills
- Full UK Driver’s License.
Salary & Benefits:
- £50,000 - £55,000
