Established in 1999, this company is a leading full service digital agency based in the north east of England are looking to recruit an experienced SEO or PPC team leader to head up their digital marketing function.

As a person involved with digital marketing you are the kind of person that immediately finds conversion blockers when you look at a website, immediately know what needs to happen to fix it and convey these thoughts to your team and the clients alike, but more than this, you are the kind of person that can impart this skill to the team members you manage.

Your new role will involve setting the strategy and processes for a team comprising of PPC account managers, SEO account managers, CRO specialists, email marketeers and designers to ensure their portfolio of clients are well served and enjoy ongoing, increasing financial gain from their association with us.

As the successful candidate, you will have a wealth of experience in the digital marketing world, perhaps as a team leader, department head or director and will feel comfortable managing, mentoring and motivating staff. Equally you will feel at home handling important customer accounts and leading the presentation of the larger pitches.

In addition to the search function within the business you will be backed up by a highly capable, in-house team of developers, both front and back end.

Answering directly to the managing director, you will be a self-starter, able to set direction, specify process and then oversee correct adherence by staff. You will then be able to concisely communicate the performance of the teams both electronically and in person.

You will naturally be following and up to date with all of the latest changes within the industry.

Your employment history will have elements from the following list:
- Real world CRO with proven track record
- Whitehat SEO with demonstrable results
- Innovative content generation and syndication
- Social media management
- PPC comprising of Google and Bing, search and shopping and knowledge of the latest scripting techniques
- Attribution modelling
- Team management

Desirable:
- 5 Year plus agency or ecommerce business experience
- Knowledge of productivity tools such as Trello, SEM Rush and Google Data Studio.

Salary range from £55,000 to £75,000 +benefits +profit related bonus. Dependent on experience.
