Are you an excellent and innovative teacher and leader, who has a passion for developing and supporting colleagues across a school, to ensure every child achieves their best?

Are you ready to take the next step on your leadership journey, within a school offering the ideal combination of support, opportunity and autonomy?

The successful candidate will have a proven track record of highly effective personal practice, as well as strong evidence of contributing effectively to the development of others. On appointment, their key focus will be the development of curriculum, teaching and learning, whilst also developing wider leadership and management skills. The appointed person will operate in partnership with our experienced headteacher who is also a lead inspector.

This school is a successful one and this gives us the opportunity and time to focus on and truly embed specific developments to build on and sustain strong outcomes.

The Head of School and Headteacher will have clearly defined roles and responsibilities that support and complement each other. The successful candidate will have a substantial amount of clearly defined non-teaching time, to ensure they can fulfil their role effectively. The age phase of the teaching commitment is currently flexible and will be chosen to match the appointee’s strengths.
