This company specialises in the renewables sector and as part of succession planning and improvement initiatives, is looking for an ambitious Head of Operations. The new role will be responsible for the day to day successful operation of several established and new-build sites. Reporting to the Managing Director, you will lead an established team of operational and support managers. You will have full financial responsibility to EBITDA level, whilst ensuring the highest standard of H&S management.
Other areas of responsibility will include planned asset maintenance, project management (upgrades and site refurbishment), procurement, preparation and presentation of KPIs and key stakeholder engagement.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the development and delivery of the budgeted peformance of assets.
- Maintain and improve health & safety standards
- Maintenance, both planned and reactive. Analysis and attribution modelling of plant performance
- Management of critical 3rd party service providers
- Performance reporting and maximising plant potential
- Preparation of reports for Group Management Committee and attend board meetings as required
- Detailed understanding of profit and loss based accounts, cashflow forecasting, budgeting and management accounts
- Travel is required to other sites to support your General Managers
You will need strong leadership skills and an absolute focus on site performance, health and safety, customer service, continuous improvement, quality and best practice.
