JOB DUTIES
- Managing the development, maintenance, upgrading and support of IT systems.
- Provide leadership, guidance and expert advice on system upgrades and the implementation of new products.
- Support of all software packages used for key business applications and processes.
- Providing clear procedures and training to all relevant staff to optimise productivity and accuracy.
- Maintaining existing knowledge and seek new software developments within and recommend new innovative applications to the business.
- Manage external service provider relationships.
- Staff training, appraisals, disciplinary actions and recruitment.
- Ensure the security of all data and the system integrity and that a DR recovery is undertaken on a regular basis.
REQUIREMENTS FOR THE ROLE
- Proven track record at a senior level.
- Must have experience of business software systems
- Excellent verbal and interpersonal communication skills are critical
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
- Conversant with web and android applications
- Conversant with M SQL, backups and maintenance, T-SQL, SSRS
- Experience of virtualised environments such as VN Ware
- Conversant with Systems/Cyber security
- Backup and Mstore technologies
- Network Infrastructure, VPNS, DNS
