Location: Doncaster, with extensive travel to Selm, Germany, during first year

In order to support our Group Procurement Team, we are looking for a self-motivated, analytically-thinking person with strong negotiation skills to take up the newly created role of Procurement Manager.
The Position
- You will be responsible for various purchasing areas at a national and international level as well as the continuous independent search for new potential cost savings.
- Based on well-founded analysis of purchasing data, you will conduct independent negotiations with supplier key accounts for a variety of group-wide purchasing areas. These will include plant engineering, operating and auxiliary materials, fleet management as well as maintenance and repair services for production technology.
- You will be in constant communication with internal national and international managers, advising and implementing on new strategic supplier agreements.
The Person
- University Degree in Business, Economics or Industrial Engineering, preferably specialising in procurement.
- Proven conceptual and analytical skills.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with a confident manner and the ability to communicate at all levels.
- Highly motivated with the drive to identify and achieve savings.
- Strong assertiveness and professional negotiating skills.
Salary: Competitive Salary of £40,000 to £55,000 per annum, dependent upon experience plus an excellent benefits package
