We're sorry, you can no longer apply for this job.

It is always a pleasure to be able to open an Ad by stating that the opportunity here has arisen due to internal promotion, and we hope it is similarly good for you to read too!

Who are we? A leading and long established brand name (in fact, three brands) in our markets for manufacturing for materials to the construction sector and for packaging applications, with a reputation for quality, service, and innovation. We have the advantage of the backing of a leading European Group in terms of ownership but with the autonomy in the UK to pursue our business goals and growth.

That growth is set for to continue as a long term trend, not a short term bounce, that doesn't mean however, that we are going to sit back on current success - we need to make sure we are more in tune than ever with our loyal existing customers, but also take market share with new ones.

This is why we need you as a great business leader as well as a great Marketing leader to play a critical role in aligning creative direction with the company’s growth strategy, developing, implementing and executing strategic Marketing plans for the three brands to attract potential customers and retain existing ones.

Responsibilities will include:

- Overseeing all our Marketing campaigns
- Working closely with our Group NPD manager to identify new products, their route to market and pricing strategies
- Ensuring that our company is communicating the right messaging to attract prospective customers and retain existing ones
- Representing the Marketing team to cross-functional groups including product management, sales, or customer support
- Updating senior leadership on the progress of marketing activities and reporting on the results of campaigns

What are we looking for in you in return for a role where you can really put your own stamp on it?

- In depth B2B Marketing expertise at leadership level is a MUST. We sadly could not consider anyone at this level who need to cross train from B2C.
- A hands on Marketing all rounder - as the Marketing team is small at present (but may grow), it is very much a case of "do, don't delegate" at present.
- A detailed and thorough understanding of traditional and emerging Marketing channels, together with outstanding written and spoken communication skills, along with the ability to think creatively and innovatively.
- Budget management skills and proficiency.

Finally, we are a diverse business, and actively welcome opportunities to drive diversity further.

If 2022 is a year of positive change for you in your Marketing career, as it is for us in our brand(s), and you have that background that we seek, we'd love to hear from you.

Please note: This is a fully remote role, but it might be an advantage if you were based within accessible distance of either of our two plants in England (Yorkshire and Sussex) for meetings, etc.
