Location: Doncaster (with possible travel to UK sites within the Group)

The Group’s companies manufacture quality products for use in human and animal foodstuffs, agriculture, aquaculture, and industrial applications. The Company has a UK annual turnover approaching £280 million and employs around 1,000 people at 23 sites across the country.
The Position
Applications are invited for a Group HACCP & Quality Systems Administrator at our Doncaster Site. This is a full time permanent position working 40 hours per week.
As the Group HACCP & Quality Systems Administrator your duties and responsibilities will vary based on the Company’s requirements but will include:
- Managing changes to the Quality Systems (including UKAS 17025) and HACCP systems;
- General Administrative duties including filing of paperwork and electronic filing;
- Working within schedules, incorporating 11 quality systems;
- Responsible for accurate document control systems, including chasing and following up;
- Accurately updating changes to Quality Systems documents;
- Following Group Quality audit schedules and ensuring responses are received;
- Minute taking in meetings
- Typing up hand written notes and minutes;
- Delivery of training to internal employees on quality standards and hygiene;
In addition, this role will develop into encompassing the following:
- Promoting HACCP principles throughout the Group;
- Assisting with Quality Systems and HACCP implementation and training;
- Carrying out Internal Audits including UKAS (ISO 17025) and GMP audits as required;
- Assisting with the development and understanding of Food Hygiene Standards and Practices and GMP throughout the Group.
- Assisting with the development and understanding of Accreditation standards used within the Group and carry out audits as required.
The Person
Essential:
- Experience of working within an administrative role
- Experience of working in a factory / commercial environment
- The ability to produce reports and communicate findings effectively
- Competent at analysing data
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Be self-motivated and have a pro-active approach to problem solving.
- To be able to work to tight deadlines.
- A clean driving licence and willingness to travel
Advantageous:
- Previous experience within a Quality environment and running/attending audits.
- Previous experience working with Quality Systems (including UKAS 17025) and HACCP systems.
- Hold a certificate in Level 3 HACCP (or equivalent) and Internal Auditing Skills
- Previous experience in implementing and conducting training.
