This agency wants to create a buzzing design team in Bristol; they want you to feel more like you're in the offices of a leading design agency than a software business dedicated to the delivery of great software to the NHS. This role might also be available on a part time (four days a week) basis.

About the role

You'll help them create innovative, brilliantly simple and intuitive digital and print interactions that blend effortlessly. This is an unparalleled opportunity to work with talented experts in software design, typography and usability as well as juggling to meet the needs of their sales team for inventive communication materials.

You will:

- work closely with their in-house software development teams to create new ideas for their user journeys, breaking down traditional barriers of design and challenging the norms.
- iterate and refine these ideas through sketching and wireframing before working on designs that show what our customers will see.
- work with our sales and marketing team, sometimes on very tight deadlines, to produce effective communication pieces
- take insights from customer research and analytics to help build products that will delight the customer and deliver commercial results
- champion design, and ensure that the client is always at the forefront of any design

About you

Their market is a crowded one and they want to stand out. They want to disrupt. You need to know what good design looks like and your CV application portfolio will demonstrate this. They believe that Design and UX is about solving real client problems, so you'll need to be naturally inquisitive. You'll have a passion for design and technology, and have your finger on the pulse of new digital trends.

You'll also be able to show us that you:

- know what agile development is, and have worked alongside agile teams to deliver market-leading experiences and top-notch digital products
- have created customer experiences for desktop, tablet and mobile devices
- can think rationally, using insight to break down problems in a methodical and logical way
- can defend your ideas when challenged, and explain your thinking clearly have experience of the usual array of Design/UX tools and software
