This Kent based graphic design and branding consultancy are looking for a talented designer to join to their creative team in Kent.
Primarily you will be working to deliver the communication needs of their clients, using a mix of creative skills, accurate artworking and commercial awareness. A very strong understanding of preparing work for both print and digital is needed. The ability to work hard without distraction whilst maintaining excellent accuracy is vital since they often work to tight deadlines.
You will join a dedicated and friendly team with very high standards. You should show imaginative flair, with exceptional attention to detail, and be comfortable picking up a brief from visual concept stages and taking it through to final delivery be that print or digital. Opinions matter, you should be able to voice your innovative ideas articulately and sympathetically both to the team and to the client.
Their perfect candidate will possess the following skills:
- Solid grasp of design concepts, ideally with a degree level qualification in design
- Strong typographical skills
- An understanding of how print design is merging with digital and how to develop brands that can make the transition from screen to screen
- Pharmaceutical packaging skills
- Hands-on skills in Adobe Creative Cloud on MacOS
- Possession of an excellent portfolio with variety of industries and deliverables represented (don't submit word documents!)
- Strong understanding and ideally experience developing websites, from wireframing to wordpress.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to present to clients
