This is an opportunity to join a leading independent Scientific and Regulatory Affairs Consultancy, providing scientific and regulatory affairs solutions to companies in all sectors of the chemical industry. Their philosophy is to ensure their Clients achieve regulatory compliance through the application of good science, innovative thinking and clarity, ensuring that all deliverables are prepared efficiently and to a high standard.

They offer scientific and regulatory affairs services with particular experience in industrial and fine chemicals, human medicinal products, veterinary medicinal products, agrochemicals and biocides.

The Position:
They are currently recruiting for graduates in their Edinburgh office. The successful candidates will provide technical support in the delivery of services to their Clients, covering all aspects of the submission and maintenance of chemical registration dossiers under REACH (Regulation EC 1907/2006).

The successful candidates will play a supporting role in the following areas:
- Technical dossier compilation
- Chemical safety assessment
- Quality assurance
- SIEF/Consortium Management
- Only representative services to non-EU Clients
- Project management

The initial contract would be for 18 months, with potential for a full-time contract to be awarded depending on performance. This is an exciting opportunity for a recent graduate to begin their career in scientific and regulatory affairs consultancy.

Full training, both formal and on-the-job will be provided.

The Candidate:
You will be degree educated in a relative scientific discipline (e.g. chemistry, toxicology, environmental science). You must be an effective communicator, who is well organised with a keen eye for detail.

You will also be a strong relationship builder who is innovative and is adept at working from their own initiative and equally well working as part of a larger project team. You will approach your work with a positive attitude and be curious about the challenges offered by new projects.
