Working hours: 37.5 a week
To support the future planned growth and development of the Technology Centre they are seeking to recruit a Graduate to join their Graduate Training Programme in 2019 to work in several areas of the business: four 6 months placements.
The programme is part of their succession planning initiative and will cover most aspects of the company and concentrate on ensuring that they develop transferable and ‘critical’ skills across all areas of the business.
Ideally, they are seeking recent high caliber graduates in the following disciplines:
- Physics
- Material Science
- Mathematics
The successful applicants will have strong analytical and problem-solving skills and an ability to work from first principles, as the work may involve the development of new test methods and procedures.
The role will also involve considerable customer contact, therefore applicants should have a confident, professional outlook, be commercially aware and customer focused.
Knowledge or experience of the shoe industry would be advantageous.
A willingness to travel is essential as the position may involve visits both within the UK and abroad, working independently or as part of a small team.
