This company requires a candidate, very probably a recent graduate, to join their team. The successful applicant will have the ability, commitment and enthusiasm necessary to take on important management duties, and will have the potential to assume long term responsibility for effectively running the business, and enabling the owners to retire.

The work will involve assisting with the day to day supervision of Facilities Management operations throughout the UK; helping with administering building and civil engineering projects throughout the Highlands and Islands; management of a portfolio of residential and holiday lettings in various locations in Scotland and implementation of housing developments in the Highlands and Islands.

The successful candidate will be required to work closely with our web designers, graphic artists and marketing specialists to implement, improve and manage our online, digital and social media presence. Experience in the necessary skills, or the willingness and ability to acquire them, will be a definite advantage.

The post will be based at our office in the lovely village of Onich, in Lochaber, Outdoor Capital of the UK, and will require occasional travel throughout the UK.

They must have a pro-active, "can do" attitude as there will be substantial responsibility for the new employee, after initial training, to assume responsibilty for a variety of important duties.

High standards of literacy, numeracy and IT skills are required, and experience in all types of marketing will be advantageous.

The position will require considerable clerical and secretarial work so proficiency in typing and office skills will be preferred.

A driving licence is essential
