This global leader in end-to-end Quality Assurance (QA) and cyber security, is looking to recruit a talented Graduate / Junior Software Engineer.

The role:
As Graduate/Junior Software Engineer, you will be able to:
- Design, build and test their testing applications / frameworks.
- Develop work breakdown structures and corresponding estimates.
- Analyse complex technical standards to determine testing requirements/approach.
- Contribute new ideas / improvements to the engineering team and wider organisation (we set aside dedicated time for engineers to work on their own ideas).
- Report progress & status and escalate issues to project managers.
- Provide technical support to colleagues and customers.
- Be flexible in your approach and willing to assist with all aspects of their work.
- Show a keen eye for detail, diligence, and be a logical thinker.

The technologies you will use:
- Python, Django, PHP for the backend
- JavaScript ,HTML for the frontend
- JavaScript for test cases and API communication
- C/C++ for performance critical features, SDK integration
- Windows / Linux OS
- SVN for version control
- Jenkins for continuous integration
- Redmine for bug tracking
- JIRA for project management
- Slack / Wiki for collaboration

Desirable skills, experience /qualifications:
- Any commercial software development experience
- Knowledge of the broadcast and consumer electronics industry technologies such as:
o networking &/or content streaming (TCP/IP, HTTP, UDP)
o applications & web-technologies (such as HTML5)
o media formats, e.g. MPEG, H.264, H.265, AAC, ISOBMFF, MPEG-DASH, especially in creating, modifying, and analysing such formats
