The Shift supervisor is responsible for assuring the overall availability of the network remains high. They will have day-to-day responsibility for configuration control, network management and monitoring of the Networks. The role is to provide 24x7 (on rota) decision making, leadership and the implementation of, and adherence to, relevant incident management processes and policies.

Main Responsibilities
- Ensure that each analyst executes their duties and their responsibilities
- Be responsible for operational support during major incidents
- Act as a point of escalation for network technicians to report fault isolation progress and client service complaints
- Assist in the tracking of problems from initial report, identification, escalation and dispatch through resolution
- Coordinate major fault/problem investigation
- Ensure that measures are in place to ensure that their networks and systems are available as per SLA’s
- Develop and maintain relationships both internally and with Suppliers to ensure quality of service are achieved at all times
- Identify and recommend operational improvements consistent with the delivery of high quality service to customers
- Ensure that all Trouble tickets are resolved in a timely manner
- Ensure correct prioritisation of all faults

Required
- 1 to 2 Years experience as a Team Lead or Technical Lead with emphasis on Project management skills and/or Program Management to include Scheduling, Performance Appraisal and Process improvement
- 4 years experience in the telecommunications field with the emphasis on Network Control, Technical Control or Network related Customer Service
- 3 to 5 years experience dealing with Customer Care and/or Public Relations
- Experience in Data Networking to include fault isolation troubleshooting. Supervisory experience with Installation and Configuration teams a benefit
- Experience in Voice Networking and Carrier Relations to include fault isolation with Wireless and/or terrestrial based carriers

- Operational management experience
- Service orientated as opposed to technology orientated
- Knowledge of the company and its products
- Previous supplier management experience
- Experience in the payments industry
