The core purpose for this role will be to drive the client travel programme globally by building strategic partnerships across the integrated team and understand the overall market place to bring benefits to the client and team. The job holder will work closely with the Global Travel Manager, build and maintain multi-functional relationships at all levels throughout the organisations, supporting business needs and requests as they arise and attending regular meetings which will require working on-site three days per week.

Key Areas of Activity include:
- Strategic direction and planning to develop new business opportunities and lead implementations for growth
- Drive change including transformational servicing models, traveller behaviour and digitalisation for travel
- Design and implement annual business and savings plans
- Analyse and present data monthly to make recommendations on travel management
- Contract delivery including SLA and KPI’s to ensure targets are set
- Creation of bespoke initiatives and recommendations to support duty of care policies and procedures including airline safety and high-risk travel
- Supporting the global Operations team to provide the most effective service in addition to line management for a Global Liaison Manager
- Responsibility for the client P&L

What we’re looking for:
- A minimum of three years’ experience and proven track record in a global business management role within the travel industry, ideally in the oil and gas energy sector
- Commercially astute and able to understand and interpret financial information
- Excellent communicator, culturally aware and able to build rapport and influence all stakeholders globally
- Effective time management and able to achieve goals across multiple time zones
- Highly drivne, resilient able to work under pressure in a ever changing working environment
- Creative problem solver, able to think on your feet outside of the box and implement new ideas and solutions

The job holder will be required to work form the client premises in Aberdeen at least three days per week. There will also be a requirement to travel globally, approximately 4-5 times a year.
