Reporting directly to the CEO, the role of General Manager will be integral to the success of the Group. The successful candidate will demonstrate leadership by providing support to both the operational and commercial sectors of the business and ensuring that resources and capabilities within the company are sufficient to enable the delivery of the strategy as approved by the Board of Directors, while maintaining the culture and core values of the company.

Key elements include:

- Contract Management: Review and management of service contracts and master service agreements, to include monitoring for extension or renewal and completed contract close-out while communicating contract-related information to all stakeholders.
- Coordinate the company’s response to tenders, developing accurate and consistent bids as part of a team comprising members of the relevant departments.
- Responsible for managing and overseeing the third-party IT support providers who manage platforms, infrastructure and security, making recommendations for improvements and leading any projects to implement such changes.
- Manage the company’s Quality, Health, Safety and Environmental Management System, holding responsibility for ISO 9001 & ISO 18001 accreditation and reporting. Take an active role in the company’s Crisis Management Team.
- Responsible for managing the third-party HR support provider.
- Lead the commercial insurance annual review and implementation.
- Responsible for the UK property including 3rd party contractors.

Experience/Specifications:

- Bachelor’s Degree in Law or Business Administration
- 10 years’ experience in a leadership position
- Knowledge of IT infrastructure.
- Working knowledge of HSE Management Systems
- Working knowledge of HR law.
- A commercially minded person with excellent communication skills and attention to detail with the ability to multitask.
- Experience within the Oil and Gas sector would be an advantage.
