This is an opportunity to join privately held, specialized company providing customized clinical packaging services on a global basis. Serving pharmaceutical, biotechnology and clinical research organizations of all sizes and for each phase of clinical development.

The UK site is responsible for secondary packaging, into plain packaging, to ensure the supplies are blinded for clinical trials. It also provides the storage and distribution of clinical materials for use in clinical trials and acts as the distribution hub for Europe and the rest of the world.

The GM role acts as the on-site lead for the UK, overseeing all activities. The fundamental objective of the GM is to ensure that the operations and quality assurance divisions are working in a collaborative manner, to best achieve the organisations goals.

Responsibilities:
- Developing solutions to business challenges
- Driving the company to achieve business goals and objectives
- Spearheading the development, communication and implementation of effective growth strategies and processes
- Motivating and leading a high performance team
- Fostering a success-oriented, accountable environment

Skills and Experience:
- Strong knowledge within the pharmaceutical industry & clinical supplies is a MUST
- Understanding of GMPs & GDPs
- Strong managerial experience - including managing divisions that can have - conflicting goals
- Ideally management experience within a multi-national company
- University degree or equivalent
- MBA or Masters degree preferred
- Good attention to detail
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Excellent reading and writing skills
- Excellent communication skills
