They have a great opportunity for a Senior Leader to join their business as a General Manager for their Key Fasteners Business.

Key Fasteners is part of the company and offers over 20 years experience in supply and solution methods for a diverse range of industries including rail, renewables, medical and general manufacturing. They partner with leading manufacturers and suppliers to offer a complete procurement solution for both consumables and fasteners.

The purpose of this role is to lead and direct the Key Fasteners operation by growing the business consistent with the Corporate Plan, retaining existing business, winning new customers, building supplier relationships and developing industry leading propositions in conjunction with their sales and business development teams to provide excellent solutions for their existing and new customers.

You will need to demonstrate a great track record of business development within the consumables and fasteners market within the Rail industry. Equally our business principles mean we need great leaders to provide inspiration, coaching and development to our teams in whatever functional area they operate so you must demonstrate a track record of leading teams to deliver.

You may come from a purchasing, engineering or purely from a Sales and BD background - they are keen to hear from you. This company has ambitious growth plans both in the UK and abroad - Key Fasteners was acquired by the company in 2017 and they continue to work with the existing team including Management and welcome the opportunity to bring in new perspectives to drive the business forward learning from shared experiences. Sales currently stand at approx. £3m per annum with a plan to achieve over £7m by 2021. This role is intrinsic in delivering both the sales and infrastructure and the team currently stands at 15 people. You will play a key role in the wider leadership community.

The location of this role is flexible. You will be covering sites from Kent/Derby and Doncaster and make regular visits to their other sites so an East Coast base and flexibility of travel is required.
