A General Manager is required to join this well established and successful engineering business designing and manufacturing a world class range of branded electro-mechanical equipment. As part of their succession plans they are looking for somebody to drive through some exciting strategic growth initiatives.
Reporting to the Chief Executive this is a senior management position within the organisation and the successful candidate will lead and manage this business; driving international sales growth, marketing activities, new product development and improvements in manufacturing operations and customer service.
The successful candidate needs to have significant senior business development and manufacturing management experience selling engineered products globally both directly and through authorised distributors. They will also have experience leading change in an established manufacturing/engineering environment and be competent in developing a lean continuous improvement culture.
The business is located in a modern facility with much room for expansion. This is an opportunity for an entrepreneurial and commercial engineering leader to take an established business to the next level making a real impact on the organisation. The role will require significant international travel.
