This company is based in Ashton-under-Lyne, Greater Manchester and specialises in CNC Turning and CNC Milling.

They are now recruiting for two positions to join their team in an established modern machine shop. Working on a busy shop floor as part of an experienced team, you will be working on a variety of products. Experience of working in the sub-contracting machining industry would be ideal, for small to medium batch sizes. Must be located within a commutable distance, and available to start quickly, highly motivated, with a strong work ethic, and capable of hitting the ground running.

Candidates for both roles must be good communicators with the ability to integrate within and support a successful team. Fully Experienced and Time Served, use to working on Multi Axis Machines in a range of materials, including exotic grade alloys. It is essential that candidates are able to interpret detailed engineering drawings and deliver conforming parts. The highest standard of H&S and Quality are essential. Training will be provided to enhance your existing skills, as and when required on an ongoing basis.

They are looking for a Fully Skilled CNC Miller / CADCAM Programmer and a CNC Turner / CADCAM Operator (to run, set and operate Mazak Machines). They offer a competitive salary of £13 - £15 per hour, equivalent to £26364 to £30420 per year, depending on role, capability and experience.

Fully Skilled CNC Miller / CADCAM Programmer.

Requirements include experience of Mazak 4 - axis Vertical Machining Centres, with:

- Mazatrol 640M Control
- Mazatrol Matrix Nexus
- CAD/CAM Programming
- One CNC (Desirable)
- Use of Faro Arm (Desirable)

Main Duties will include:

- Day to day running of a 3 or 4 - axis milling machines
- Programme, set and operate CNC machine tools
- Liaise with Works Manager to determine most effective way of completing new jobs
- Tool, programme and fixture each job to minimise run times
- Obtain First - off inspection approval for every operation

Hours of Work and Company Benefits

Mon-Thu: 8.00am – 5.00pm
Fri: 8.00am – 1.00pm

Overtime, as and when required.

21 Days Annual Leave, plus Bank Holidays.
