This dynamic and fast growing cloud-software company based in Swindon, UK, is looking for a talented and *experienced* individual to play a key role in the development and maintenance of its platform.
The successful candidate will have the chance to acquire additional skills and experience, whilst working on business-critical cloud software projects for global, blue chip clients.
What you will do:
- Develop front-end UX code using: JavaScript, React.js (Redux, React-Router), HTML, CSS;
- Integrate front-end UX with back-end NoSQL data stores and business logic;
- Build and maintain RESTful web services and integrations;
- Build and maintain mobile applications using React Native;
- Write and perform unit and automated tests;
- Maintain clear documentation;
- Collaborate in Agile Scrum planning, sprints and retrospectives;
- Take ownership in developing and testing against user stories;
- Influence the company’s technical roadmap;
- Help to foster a culture of continuous improvement and quality.
What you will bring:
- Strong Javascript / HTML / CSS;
- Good experience with AJAX / JSON;
- Some database experience (eg. SQL, NoSQL, PostgreSQL);
- Understanding of Test Driven Development;
- Exceptional analytical skills and extreme attention to detail;
- Knowledge of source control (eg. Git) and automated testing (eg. Selenium, Cypress);
- The ability to work flexibly and learn quickly;
- Minimum 3 years software development experience;
- Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent);
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
- Some experience with React and/or React Native would be valued highly.
