A Full Stack Developer is required to join an established digital video game e-commerce operation. Every day thousands of gamers trust them with their game purchases and since launching in November 2012, they have sold over 45 million games in over 200 countries.

The Company is a highly successful and ambitious business with a 22-year+ track record of profitability.

They are looking to build the next generation of their platform and are seeking an exceptional Full Stack Software Engineer to help define and implement this, as well as shape future projects. The current platform architecture uses Node.js, React.js and MongoDB with support tasks undertaken primarily using JavaScript. The role would require you to take into account the latest technologies and techniques of a successful web application.

So, this is a unique opportunity for a commercially skilled and dynamic individual with a passion for programming, development - and gaming - to join their forwarding-thinking team.

The Person: -
You’re an experienced developer, perhaps an innovator. You’ve toiled on multiple projects in various environments. You’ve put projects into production, people have/do use them, and you’ve experienced the highs and lows, paying your dues along the way. Most importantly, you learned valuable lessons and have an infectious passion for technology, viewing what you do as a craft.

Desired Skills & Experience:
- At least 3 years commercial experience
- Proven track record of working with e-commerce web sites
- Experience with relational databases, preferably PostgreSQL
- Working knowledge of Git or other source code management tools
- Strong understanding of object-oriented programming
- Write clean, well thought out and maintainable code
- Experienced in React, Node.js, and Angular.js
- REST APIs and API integration
- Experience using Redis, AWS (S3) or similar technologies
- Exposure to test-driven and behaviour-driven development
- Experience with agile development workflows

- Ability to work to tight deadlines in an exciting and fast paced environment with minimal oversight
- Proactive approach with thorough attention to detail
- Self-motivated with strong personal organisational skills and comfortable working alone or as part of a team
- Must show a desire to continuously expand their knowledge base and proficiencies
