They are currently looking for a talented and experienced UI / UX Developer with an eye for detail and good knowledge of multiple front end technologies to work full time alongside their experienced development team, on a range of projects from their own website and client portal, to exciting new products that will join their existing portfolio of software. The right candidate will be able to demonstrate a proven track record within the industry covering the below job duties:

- The creation of wireframes, prototypes and concepts to communicate design solutions
- The creation of visual design concepts that drive innovation
- The definition of UX design standards and patterns within the business and ability to identify where existing products do not meet these standards
- Collaboration with project teams to understand both the user’s needs and the business requirements, with the aim of producing technical requirement
- Utilisation of emerging trends and technologies
- Writing technical documentation to assist the technical team in the deployment and support of the products
- A hands-on approach to writing the code behind your great concepts

You should be dynamic and adaptable, with the ability to quickly make the right decisions within a fast-paced environment. Whilst not all essential, the ideal candidate will have experience of as much of the following as possible:
- HTML, CSS (preferably SCSS), JavaScript (including jQuery and Vue.js) and front-end frameworks, such as Bootstrap or SemanticUI
- Git or other DVCS, including team workflows
- React / React Native or similar full-stack Node.js frameworks such as Angular
- Containerised development tools, such as Docker
- Photoshop, Illustrator or other design focused software applications
- Build tools such as Grunt, Gulp or Webpack
- Understanding or experience with front end testing and automation tools
- Ability to produce and review clean, high quality code with a focus on standards and accessibility

In addition, it would be advantageous to have experience with:
- C#, including .NET Core
- Rapid Application Development tools
- PHP, including the Laravel / Symfony frameworks

As a business they look for candidates with commercial awareness and excellent communication skills, along with a willingness and ability to learn and apply new skills quickly. However, they recognise that you may have had limited opportunity to gain some of the skills listed above; overall it is attitude, aptitude and ambition that are more important to them.
