Due to expansion, this company is currently seeking an experienced Fire and Security Alarm Engineer to cover the Leicestershire (and Midlands wide for callouts) areas
The role will entail carrying out the Servicing of Fire Detection/Alarm Systems, Emergency Lighting, Intruder Alarms, CCTV and various other systems within their field of operation together with installation of replacement/additional equipment.
You will also be expected to remain smart and presentable at all times, working to a professional standard and maintaining excellent customer relations.
The Person
All candidates must meet the following criteria as a minimum:
- Recognised electrical qualifications ideally to City & Guilds or NVQ Level
- Prior experience of the installation of Fire Alarm Systems and/or Emergency Lighting Systems
- A Full UK Driving Licence
- 17th Edition IEE Regulations Qualification would be highly desirable.
- FIA accreditations would be desirable
Ideally they are seeking a technically experienced Engineer, who is able to work on their own initiative.
A working knowledge of the current British Standards (BS5839 and BS5266) would be preferred.
Also, if you have completed any of the FIA BS5839 Training Units this would be advantageous.
