Role

The role of Financial Systems Analyst has been newly created within the business due to a recognised requirement for an individual to assist the Systems Accountant with the maintenance, improvement and monitoring of the businesses financial systems.

Responsibilities:

The Financial Systems Analyst will work with the Systems Accountant and internal stakeholders to develop and analyse the businesses financial applications. Your main role will be to maintain and improve financial tools and systems interface routines as well as constantly reviewing and improving data management and data integrity. You will resolve financial software support queries and assist the Systems Accountant with the implementation of new financial software to further enhance business productivity.

Essential Technical Skills:
- Microsoft SQL Scripting
- Advanced Excel
- Ability to Interpret analytics and data sets
- Knowledge of Financial / Accounting processes
- Experience of internal customer facing role

Useful:
- I Series database scripting (DB2)
- Experience of data warehouse implementation
- Experience of Alteryx
- Experience of Tableau
- Experience of Financial / Manufacturing industries

Experience / Personal Skills:
To be successful in this post you must be highly numerate and self-motivated with a desire to develop your skill sets. You must have strong analytical and problem solving skills, with an eye for detail.
