This company is a leading, international engineering consultancy that operates in 10 markets working primarily in the maritime industry.

The company's combination of intellectual rigour and commercial insight has helped them to play an important and increasing role in industries as diverse as oil and gas, defence, renewable energy, ports, risk management and maritime transport.

Located at their headquarter offices in Teddington, UK, they now have a vacancy for a Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) Manager with at least 3 years post-qualification experience to provide financial analysis and support to the executive management.

The Role:

Working primarily with both the Group Financial Controller and the Group Finance Director you will be a qualified Chartered Accountant (with at least 3 years PQE) with experience of being an effective trouble-shooter working on behalf of the Senior Management Team, providing accurate business trend analysis, forecasting and beneficial background information for the business.

You will also provide support in the following key financial areas:

- Business and scenario planning, drawing on economic research
- Acquisitions and disposals
- Assisting with strategic option reviews
- Attendance of Board and sub-committee meetings where required
- On-going improvement to existing finance systems
- Business reviews of our operating companies
- Year-end statutory accounts

The role will provide you with the exciting opportunity to use your excellent analytical and business intelligence skills gained during your post-qualification experience. You must have the flexibility for regular national and international travel to the offices of our Operating Companies when required.

Knowledge, Skills and Experience

- Fully qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA) with audit experience
- Strong analytical/business intelligence skills gained post-qualification
- Minimum of 3 years post-qualification experience
- Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Excel and research databases
- You must be able to work under pressure and be able to meet deadlines
- Good communication skills
