This company is an independent B2B managed print provider and supplier of printing, faxing and photocopying machines offering Ricoh, Canon, Lexmark and Develop devices along with a wide choice of document management solutions and other complementary electronic office products

They are looking for an experienced Financial Controller to lead and develop a small finance function, to ensure the company’s H&S compliance, to oversee HR & Payroll and to manage its IT infrastructure.

This opportunity would particularly suit someone looking to move into a position where they are the number one finance person with the desire to become Finance Director within a few years. You will report directly to the Managing Director.

They are a successful Milton Keynes based business that has been trading since 1998 and supply the latest print, copy & scanning machines and technology alongside document workflow software solutions. A sister company also exists that has recently been set up to provide hosted and mobile telephone solutions to organisations.

To be successful in this role you will need:
- To be a qualified accountant, CIMA preferred
- Have previous experience of being a financial controller
- Experience in an SME environment
- Strong team management and leadership
- Intermediate to advanced excel skills

For both companies this role will involved
- Overseeing monthly management and financial accounts to trial balance in a timely manner
- Creation and development of monthly reporting pack
- Monthly and quarterly meetings with senior management team
- Creation of budgets and targets and reforecasting these as necessary
- Cash flow forecasting
- Point of contact for banks, HMRC and accountants
- Development and training of finance team
- Main point of reference and responsibility for ISO 9001:2015
- Main contact for GDPR and ensuring compliance with its requirements
- Providing HR advice and being back up for payroll
- Review, improve and develop processes
- Advising the Managing Director on areas for improvement
- Assist in the implementation of a new company wide ERP system

This will be a very hands on role and will require extensive interaction with all departments.
