This vacancy has been created by internal promotion and so represents an excellent opportunity for either a current, deputy, or aspiring FC to step up to this role, whilst having the benefit of the support of the current incumbent.

Following recent changes in ownership, the company is better poised than ever to be in control of its own destiny and deliver on its growth plans.

Main Responsibilities:

Team management of the Finance Team to include recruitment, motivation, training and development of direct reports.

Produce monthly management accounts, forecasts and information monitoring the various aspects of the Company’s performance within the specified timescales.

Production of statutory accounts and statutory returns for tax, VAT and related reporting.

Assisting in the production of the Company’s business plan and budgets.

Overseeing the conclusion of current AX implementation project and monitoring future improvements to drive better performance.

Align with the Company's continuous improvement strategy to deliver results, together with the further development of our customer focused approach.

The Individual:

ACA/ACCA or CIMA Qualified or equivalent.

Experience of a similar wide ranging and diverse role would be an advantage, and any related sector experience would also be a plus.

Previous experience of staff management, development and training is also a plus.

Approachable, team orientated, and with good Communication skills, both verbal and written.

Any experience of AX implementation and development would also be of interest.

Ability to work under pressure, and to deadlines, with the understanding that the need for accurate and timely Reporting is business critical.

Good organisational skills, and a flexible approach and attitude to adapt to the demands of a growing business.
