A UK based company situated in Southam Warwickshire with a small team of accountancy/administration personnel of between 10 - 15 people is recruiting for a Financial Accounts Administrator to process the daily trading activity of a portfolio of 5-6 off-shore Investment Funds.
(Full training will be given.)
Candidate is required to have experience of many years working in book-keeping/accounting and be familiar with Trial balance, Balance Sheets and P&L and with a good knowledge of Excel.
Daily and monthly processing procedures
- Re-set each client Excel account file each day
- Download daily statements from broker internet sites
- Copy FX table of Bloomberg FX rates into each account file
- Post client stock exchange trading and update market value prices of trades and reconcile to the broker statements
- Post cash movements on bank account and reconcile to bank statements
- All postings automatically update the Trial Balance, Balance Sheet & Profit & Loss
- All the above postings produce a Net Asset Value (NAV) of the Funds (value of client's investment)
- When each client account has been fully processed each day then information is e-mailed to the relevant client.
- Month-end requires prices to be checked from independent source of Bloomberg
- Month-end account files to be re-set with regard to the Trial balance, Accruals etc.
- After month-end reset - post and update the Share Register of Investors into the Fund.
